INTRODUCTION
The naming of a clan is a very sacred process. It is not dictated by the creativity alone of the facilitator, but is rather more of a download of information that best represents the existing energy of the group as a whole. Through intuition, meditation, inspiration, imagination, observation and deep listening the clan is named, not by a human, but through a human by the unseen energy source that connects us all one to another.

We are but reflections of one another, until we are reflecting only what is inside of our heart of hearts from our purest essence. And we will then each be one to another the most persistent of reminders of the greatness that lies within each of us. For it is then that we are projecting the most essential part of our highest and finest selves from the very core of our being. And so it is wise to pay attention to everything and everyone that comes into your space. Let no blessing go unnoticed and no message go unheard. Be not fooled by the wrapping paper on the gift or the cover on the book.

And so with this, we have the naming of this Addiction Alchemy tribe on AUGUST 31, 2012:

TIGER POWER

Tiger is probably one of the most mysterious totems in the western world, yet this powerful feline spirit guide is crouching and poised to come into the light to assist you in the initiation of your ultimate life’s purpose. As the true King of the Jungle in the eastern hemisphere and a symbol of unlimited power, there is an immense amount of high octane energy to be channeled through the mastery of this regal beast! There is one thing for sure, when Tiger shows up it is time to hear the Call of the Wild.

Working with the energy of a jungle cat whose habitat is never far from water, provides paw prints for you to follow. As a predominantly eastern animal, Tiger energy is bringing you to the mastery of your mind and mental aspect, through the gifts of your feelings, senses and emotions. You’ll be balancing, counter-balancing and integrating air (thoughts) and water (intuition) through the alchemy of your inner fire, bringing yourself into divine mind, fully connected to heart. This is the Fire in the Soul that reveals and refines your unique destiny. Even the color and patterns of Tiger's coat is a visual reminder of the golden, orange flames that protect your individuality by making you so very special even in your oneness. No two Tigers have the same markings.

Awareness of the proper management and regulation of your energy in motion (e-motion) is the secret gift of this powerhouse totem. Tiger will show you how to lie in wait, and pounce at just the right time, and to hold yourself in the stillness of your own being when it is time to gather energy for the hunt. This supreme master of patience, agility, precision and skill will help you become adept at pacing your energy and focusing your passion into being. Tiger reminds you, as all cats do, that you are a mystery, and to have the patience to allow that mystery to unfold.

It is said that pride comes before a fall, and Tiger medicine can surely be a difficult totem to work with when you are not aware of the fine points of this commanding presence within. The shadow tiger can be rather high maintenance, impatient, nervous, anxious, angry, aggressive, competitive, entitled or on the other hand avoidant, isolated or a loner. Tiger is here to help you release any vestige of martyrdom and false pride and find glory and honor, not through a trumped up or force-fed persona, but through the slow, tempered transformational process of transpersonal evolution and the revelation of your soul’s emergence.

Tiger energy turned to the light will help you Go Zen and find your deep lake, so that you can execute your mission with grace, power and ease through the powers of love, compassion and forgiveness. But first you will have to stand in the Mouth of the Tiger, before you can see through the Eye of the Tiger. For the way out is through and Tiger’s night vision will help you see into your own darkness to fully claim your gifts and dispel illusions. Your darkness is nothing more than the protective covering that is obscuring your vision about who you really are, what you’ve really been doing and what you are now to do.

There is never a need for regret over what has gone before now. As new channels of energy, skills, mindsets, and pathways emerge, you realize you have been in a process of becoming and remembering, which happened exactly as it had to, simply because that IS how it happened. Tiger releases any arrogance that anything could have been any different, because you now have enough information to look back and connect the stripes to see the perfect pattern of your life and where it has been leading you.

Tiger will teach you when to be still and when to take action, how to take action through focusing your mental powers alone and take your own council first in all matters through the power of writing. There is much that can be accomplished on the mental/spiritual planes by the direction of life force energy through mental mastery. Journey work becomes very important to your human evolution.  If you are resonating with Tiger, you must know that you are indeed a "rare" and precious, golden child of the New Earth. Tiger is an important guide and teacher to help you "grow into" your very unique gifts.

You are a dethroned sovereign who has come here to restore his or her crown. Tiger is the perfect guide to walk you through this process. Kings and Queens require great humility to fulfill their true calling, because until you are of service to the world, you will feel like you are failing. But this is actually part of your humbling, and call for expansion. The need for temperance, even as you expand, is upon you.

Tiger teaches you how to stop over-driving and get in the flow and allow the Bodhisattva to emerge. You cannot force this one to reveal itself. The Bodhisattva is the next emergent inner power on the path of your development as a super being. You must engage with the vertical axis and continue up the Tree. As you climb, after the grounding of the Shaman comes the Buddha. It is only through the synergy and the reconciliation of the servant child/martyr and the Emperor/Empress within that compassion becomes benevolent, empowered action.

It’s time to release the martyr, put down all false pride and take true pride in yourself.  It becomes dangerous when powerful people underestimate their own power, or do not continue to learn and grow. This energy turns inward and can be part of what creates debilitating anxiety, neurosis and addictions. But it also turns outward, often pouncing into action at just the right time to get you to notice where you are not free. You will soon see why your spiritual gifts had to emerge slowly. Used unwisely they can bring great destruction to yourself and others. Now Tiger is here to guide you to your medicine and help you see why it’s so much better to use power versus force in all your dealings, including with yourself.

Tiger says, It’s time to stop the struggle and competition for power. Stop trying to steal power from others, and allowing others to drain yours. There is no lack. Lack is a concept you’ve constructed because you didn’t understand where your power was, you thought you had to find it outside of yourself, and you were losing power and didn't know how to source it back fast enough. Now it's time to tap into the eternal source of your power and flow. Tiger says, Be like water and soon you will know exactly where your power is at all times. There is no lack, when your energy ledger is balanced.

Tiger says, "The time has come to no longer fight against what you you do not want and focus that energy on what you want to create. The New Way is here now and you have a very important role to play. Call me to you and let me walk freely by your side. When you feel anxious or your energy is running away with you, reach down and feel my fur, breathe my breath and my spirit into your mouth, into your heart and into your mind."

You watched the universe as it was formed, you saw life emerge through the ages and you are in communication with the ancients. They are within you. Soon you will remember that you do not only belong to yourself. You belong to the world and you are an important piece of the cosmic puzzle. Tiger is a reminder to Remember it All.

Tiger asks, "What are your super powers? What stealthy gifts have emerged within you? What more wants to be made known? What is the source of your true power? Where are you still not free? "
