In December 2009 I had the extreme
pleasure of traveling diagonally across the United States from Southwest
Florida quite literally to the Top of the World Ranch Recovery in
British Columbia, Canada to assist them in building a medicine wheel on
the property.
The birthing of the medicine wheel at
Top of the World is truly one of the highlights of my life and is an
experience that I will never forget. There is a tremendous amount of
power on that land. I can't imagine that anyone would not experience
healing who would spend any amount of time there. The healing powers of
the earth and nature, especially in lands that have a concentration of
spiritual energies is something that is becoming more widely recognized

When I arrived I was greeted by two
of the most dedicated and compassionate men that I have met in a long
time, Mark Sadler, the owner of the Top of the World Treatment Centres
and Dr. Michael Harach, who was responsible for the development of the
natural resources and sacred spaces at the Recovery Ranch. It was
actually Mike, whom I had been speaking with for weeks regarding the
possibilities for integrating Addiction Alchemy into their existing
programming and assisting them with their medicine wheel.

The outdoors is breathtaking and the buildings and rooms, although in a
