The Mystical Moon
INTRODUCTION
The
naming of a clan is a very sacred process. It is not dictated by the
creativity alone of the facilitator, but is rather more of a download of information that best represents the existing energy
of the group as a whole. Through intuition, meditation, inspiration,
imagination, observation and deep listening the clan is named, not by a
human, but through a human by the unseen energy source that connects us
all one to another. We are but reflections of one another, until we are
reflecting only what is inside of our heart of hearts from our purest
essence. And we will then each be one to another the most persistent of
reminders of the greatness that lies within each of us. For it is then that we are
projecting the most essential part of our highest and finest selves
from the very core of our being. And so it is wise to pay attention to
everything and everyone that comes into your space. Let no blessing go unnoticed and no message go
unheard. Be not fooled by the wrapping paper on the gift or the cover on
the book.
And so with this, we have the
naming of this Addiction Alchemy tribe:
The Faerie
Clan
ENERGIES
Nature Spirits - Earth

FAERIE
POWER
"Come away, O human child! To the waters and the wild
With a faery, hand in hand, For the world's more full of weeping than
you can understand. (W. B. Yeats)
The power of faeries lie cloaked
amongst the obvious natural and elemental forces that are part of our
every day world. Yet, the person who connects to these mysteries
experiences nature on deeper levels than most of the rest of the world. For you a tree is
not just a tree,
a dragonfly is not just a dragonfly and a flower is not just a flower, but
are
part and parcel of a realm of mystical beings who embody the magic and
beauty of nature.
Do you dare to enter the wondrous
Realm of Faerie? Do you dare not? There are many mysterious and
fascinating paths to follow in this enchanting realm.
The person carrying Fae energy
is wild at heart and connected to the powerful elemental forces that are
our creator tools. Faeries are often associated with capriciousness and
some even caution to never anger them as they can be quite vengeful if
provoked. Not surprising this is not unlike the very forces of nature.
Mother nature often seems as if her will just overwhelms us tossing us
here and about. Yet, those who truly know the Fae, know that the earth's rain
is cleansing tears, her storms are bouts of mourning, earthquakes her
labor pains, and rainbows are her winks and smiles.

FAERIE’S MESSAGE
Faerie energy empowers you to remember who you are at the elemental
level and allows you to see exactly what that means. For though the
elements can be tasted and tested, there are etheric components to them
which can only be accessed through the Fae realms. This realm reminds
you that magic is in full effect right before your eye all the time, in
plain view, but hidden to those who are restricted to the denser levels
of conscious awareness.
Connecting to the Earth, being
enveloped and mesmerized by nature brings you to the realm of Fae.
Enjoying the beauty of this mother earth is key to understanding, not
only her loveliness, but also recognizing that every single stick, twig,
blade of grass, butterfly and tree is here for our edification,
sustenance, empowerment and healing. In her vast botanical realms alone
is a veritable limitless storehouse of remedies for anything we can
imagine. From cures for cancer and AIDS, to vitamins and minerals, to
other worldly doorways into new worlds.

FAERIE
SAYS…
I can help you connect to the earth in a new way if you will allow
yourself to see me and take me into your heart. In order to do this you
must become as a child and drop your fear that everything is just your
imagination. I will give you all the validation that you need to come to
trust your experiences.
You can begin by connecting
through the physical properties of nature by using botanicals. Use
essential oils, flower essences, crystals and herbology. Begin taking
herbs through drinking green and other teas and whole foods. You become
what you ingest and there is no more powerful way to connect to this
realm than to take it directly into your body. As you eat the bountiful,
wholesome foods of the earth you become her. For this is not a realm of
the mind only. That is why the Fae realm is so powerful, it is not
"other" worldly, it is right here with you in plain view. It is so
obvious that it is hidden.
Leave tiny saucers of cream out to
let me know that you want me to work with you. Bless every bit of food
and drink that you put into your body. Bless the earth that you walk on.
Appreciate and marvel at the beauty of our mother and she will smile on
you with bountiful abundance. Like a suckling child at a mother's breast
helps mother produce more milk with each feeding the more of earth's bounty we receive, the more she produces.
Follow my magical trails, into
your active imagination and the land of visions and dreams. I am a muse
for your creative genius and your ideas will glow and grow in delightful
ways. There is no lack, there is only abundance. I will draw back the
veil and let you see the treasure room for yourself! Follow me into the
nature trails, to the beach, sit under a tree in your backyard, but get
out into nature and I will be your guide.

FAERIE
LEGENDS
The oldest origin of the fairy was
directly connected to the earth and the elements, back to the
fifteenth-century alchemists and mystics. People in the Middle Ages
believed that fairies were sacred guardians of nature and all the
natural elements. The works of Paracelsus in the fifteenth century spoke
of these beings and described them as "the sylphs of air, the
salamanders of fire, the undines or nymphs of water, and the gnomes of
the earth" (Silver 35). Paracelsus also said that these creatures could
only live in the element into which they were born. To him, these
creatures lived and acted just as humans but were without immortal
souls. They could move at super-human speeds, had the ability to
materialize and dematerialize when needed, and possessed the magical
ability to influence the human world (Silver 35-39). The culture of the
time held that "elemental fairies shaped our temperaments: ‘the spirits
of nature have their dwellings within us as well as outside of us’"
(Silver 39).
"The realm of fairy-story is wide and deep and high and filled with many
things: all manner of beasts and birds are found there; shoreless seas
and stars uncounted; beauty that is an enchantment, and an ever-present
peril; both joy and sorrow sharp as swords. In that realm a man may,
perhaps, count himself fortunate to have wandered, but its very richness
and strangeness tie the tongue of the traveller who would report them.
And while he is there it is dangerous for him to ask too many questions,
lest the gate should be shut and the keys be lost."
-- J.R.R. Tolkien, "On Fairy-Stories," in The Monsters and the Critics
and Other Essays
"The fairy tale journey may look
like an outward trek across plains and mountains, through castles and
forests, but the actual movement is inward, into the lands of the soul.
The dark path of the fairy tale forest lies in the shadows of our
imagination, the depths of our unconscious. To travel to the wood, to
face its dangers, is to emerged transformed by this experience.
Particularly for children whose world does not resemble the simplified
world of television sit-coms ... this ability to travel inward, to face
fear and transform it, is a skill they will use all their lives. We do
children--and ourselves--a grave disservice by censoring the old tales,
glossing over the darker passages and ambiguities..."

White, Blood Red
